Smart Investment
Smart Investment Costs & Incentives on Solar Gallery Solar Systems (SGSS) are your best option, costing less than traditional systems. You may choose a system that fits your budget now and expand in the future. Because SGSS are designed as grid tie systems, there is no need for expensive batteries or bulky inefficient equipment. Systems are intended to produce all the power required during daylight hours. Power that is not immediately consumed is ‘exported’ to the grid for a credit (Net Metering). During after hours and when solar panel harvest has diminished, power is ‘imported’ using the available credit. Essentially it is like using the grid as the batteries of the system. In addition, new SGSS technology allows transforming DC power, harvested at the panel, into grid compliant AC power at the source; this ensures maximum efficiency and a minimum loss of power. Traditional systems lose about 25% of the power while SGSS is lower than 5%. This efficiency translates to more power available for use. While systems can be designed to customer specifications, we can take a 5 kW system as an example: A 5 kW (kilowatt) system will produce about 1,000 kWh (kilowatt/hour) per month, covering all the power needs for a medium size home. The cost of this system, after Federal and State rebates, will be paid off with the savings in 5 to 8 years. Solar power is a sound investment and has never been more affordable. No money down financing is available for qualified homeowners. Federal and State Governments have great incentives to encourage the purchase of these renewable energy systems. While State incentives vary from state to state, the Federal Government incentive is 30% of the cost of the system in the form of a tax credit for residential customers and in the form of grants to businesses. Many Utility companies have additional incentives. For further information please contact us at 901-217-0487 or email us at sales@solargallery.com
